Lash Extensions FAQs
What are Eyelash Extensions?
Synthetic material is used to make individual eyelash extensions in different lengths, curls, and diameters. During application, one single eyelash extension is applied to one natural eyelash. This allows your natural eyelashes to continue their growth cycle without being disrupted. Eyelash extensions should not come into contact with the skin -- this can cause irritation or could even block a follicle, which can lead to infection.
Do Eyelash Extensions damage my natural eyelashes?
As long as your eyelash extensions are applied properly and after-care instructions have been followed, there should be no damage done to your natural eyelashes. Eyelash extension adhesive is formulated to create a solid bond, specifically for human lashes. Adhesive should be used in very small amounts, allowing them to stay flexible, just like your own.
Can I react to the Eyelash Adhesive?
It is very rare, but allergic reactions to any eyelash extension adhesive can occur. Unfortunately you will not know if you are allergic until hours later. If you experience any inflammation or discomfort, please contact your eyelash technician right away. Allergic reactions can also occur after getting the extensions for a long period of time.
How long do Eyelash Extensions last?
Since each person has a different growth cycle and leads a different lifestyle, retention will vary from person to person. Most people lose on average two to five eyelashes per day, growing a new lash to replace the one that fell out. Fills are recommended every 2-4 weeks to keep them looking fresh and full. After your first set we recommend coming in after 2-2.5 weeks to see what your retention is like.
Do you take new clients who are already wearing eyelash extensions?
We no longer accept new fill clients. New clients must book a Full Set.
I'm going on vacation. Are Eyelash Extensions a good idea?
Eyelash extensions are perfect for vacation -- spend less time in front of the mirror and more time enjoying yourself! Just remember to cleanse or rinse with water after swimming or excessive sweating. Another great option would be a lash lift.

Are the caps the same size?
YES. We didn't realize how much of a bonus feature identically-sized caps would be for the pencil but people get really excited when they discover there's no risk of smushing the product into the inside of the wrong lid. Three cheers for same-sized caps!
Do I need to sharpen my pencil?
